People at our church have a great love of nature. Many are avid gardeners and all are inspired by this place where we live. The accompanying photo, by the way, is of a scene we can see from our church. The United Church creed says we are called "to live with respect in creation." In our worship and special events, we often ponder anew about what that means.
The neighboring Shady Church Cemetery is managed by the Royal Oak Burial Park.
